**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
This position ensures the voice and needs of disabled people | Tāngata Whaikaha are reflected in the strategic health outcomes of Te Whatu Ora by providing leadership that contributes to ensure the good of the New Zealand Public Health System in mind, now and for the future by ensuring the Hospital and Specialist Services delivery system ensures service delivery systems, processes and culture are inclusive of all disabled people | Tāngata Whaikaha.
As the **Manager, Disabled People's Health**, you will support H&SS to ensure all service delivery, service planning and development are designed to meet the health needs of disabled people | Tāngata Whaikaha. They will hold the equity of access and outcomes, and tangata whaikaha experience central to all of their work.
**Mōu | About you**
**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- A tertiary qualification and/ or comparable/extensive experience working at a leadership level.Public sector and health system experience preferable
- Has experience working as a leader in the inclusion of disabled people | Tangata Whaikaha in service delivery systems.
- Needs to draw on relevant longer-term experience specific to the job and work demands, acquired over time
- 5-10 years
