**About the role**:
You would be responsible for assessing, managing and settling domestic and commercial claims as well as supporting the client throughout the claims process. This is a relationship driven role where you will be in constant communication with your clients, brokers, insurers and loss adjusters and assessors.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Thoroughly and accurately investigating claims
- Building relationships with insurers to maximise client advocacy
- Learning and understanding all the major classes of insurance that are provided to your clients
- Overseeing the end-to-end processing of claims within your delegation authority
- Deciding on the appropriate resolution based on the factors surrounding the claim
- Logging all actions taken throughout the claims’ process
- Maintaining a client-centric approach at all points of the process

**About you**:

- 1-2 years of claims experience within a brokerage preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills when interacting with clients and brokers
- Able to build and maintain effective relationships
- A high level of accuracy, with a keen eye for detail
- Strong problem solving skills and naturally analytical
- Ensuring you are familiar with all 12 standards of the new Financial Services Legislation Amendment Bill
