The Salesforce Functional Lead is an integral part of Software Engineering and the Digital Technology Practice.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
Reporting to our Chapter Lead Development, you will be responsible to evaluate and identify the key functionality in Salesforce that align with existing and proposed use, with recommendations and considerations. As a natural collaborator you will thrive in our innovative, fast paced setting. You'll be working closely with stakeholders and understand the business requirements and the technical environment to ensure we get the best outcome for our Customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes
- Design and configure Salesforce solutions to meet business needs
- Create and maintain functional design documents and specifications
- Support the development of test cases and test scripts to ensure quality of solution
- Work collaboratively with technical teams to ensure solution is built to design and functional specifications
- Provide guidance and training to end-users on how to use Salesforce effectively
- Work with project managers to ensure project milestones and timelines are met
- Keep up to date with new Salesforce functionality and trends, and provide recommendations to clients on best practices
- Conduct quality reviews of deliverables to ensure they meet the client's expectations and quality standards

**About You | Mōu
To be successful in this role you should bring years of experience as a Salesforce Consultant delivering solutions. You will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud, including design, configuration and support.

What will you bring:

- Relevant Salesforce certifications and tertiary qualification/degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar area of study.
- A minimum 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Consultant delivering solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to tailor messaging to different audiences, and have a deep understanding of the business goals and objectives driving the solution.
- Experience in bridging the business requirements with the technical possibilities in the Salesforce cloud and contributing the expertise to the squad.
- Experience in leading software delivery through agile methodologies.
- Knowledge about the software or system being developed and the ability to speak to its technical capabilities and limitations.
- Strong problem identification and skills, including Change Readiness.
- An ability to prioritise, influence, and track delivery of conflicting tasks and activities.
- Ownership skills to be accountable for the result and responsible along the way.
