Workshop Coordinator

We currently have an opportunity for a coordinator/administrator to join our mechanics workshop at the Higgins Napier Branch. The workshop is responsible for the maintenance and repair of medium to large plant, equipment and road transport.

This is fast-paced, busy environment and we are looking for an experienced administrator to coordinate the day to day running of the workshop. To be successful in this role you will need to have strong communication with an excellent phone manner and strong data entry skills.

**What you’ll bring to the role**
- A background in the mechanics industry or similar is sought after but not essential - support and training from the workshop manager will be provided in regards to ordering of parts
- You will be confident on the phone - this role requires liaising with the wider Higgins Branch and suppliers to book services, order new parts, following up on previous orders, invoicing and communicating workload to the workshop manager and mechanics team
- Strong administrative and data entry experience
- Excellent coordination skills and diary management
- Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Reliable, well organised with excellent communication skills
