**What we are looking for**:
We are looking for a local Operations Specialist - to support our team and supervise ongoing operations. You'll be someone who is customer focused and thinks operationally.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive forward Beam’s operations across multiple operational verticals, including charging infrastructure, fleet management, and warehouse
- Support the Warehouse Operations:

- Ensuring that the battery charging capacity cope with the demand
- Establish a smooth inflow/outflow process of vehicles from the workshop to deployments
- Coordinate the workshop priorities and engage with vehicles repairs as needed
- Creating operational shift plans and leading a team of van and foot marshals to safely and efficiently complete tasks
- Training new staff, attending shift lead meetings and providing feedback to improve local operations
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform duties
- Coordinate team of dozens of Scooter Marshals/Rangers who support the operations

**Your day will also include**:

- Operate our vans to deploy, redistribute and swap batteries on our fleet of e-vehicles
- Patrol the city to ensure that our e-vehicles are appropriately parked and that the city remains neat and tidy
- Conduct in-field quality checks and collect any damaged e-vehicles for repair at the warehouse
- Perform basic maintenance on Beam e-vehicles to ensure that our riders will continue using the safest and most reliable vehicles
- Assist with recovering lost and missing scooters

**Requirements**:
Skills and Experience
- Experience with people management and training.
- Passion for solving problems and delivering a great customer experience
- Previous experience in transport / logistics is not necessary, but willingness to learn and get into the weeds of the business is critical
- Willing and able to complete physically demanding work. You will be moving and lifting our e-vehicles on a daily basis.
- Proactive and hands-on attitude - you’ll be doing physical work as required (driving and repair in the warehouse). Previous mechanics/warehousing experience is a bonus.
