**Transport Market Lead New Zealand**

Mott MacDonald’s New Zealand team is looking for an experienced consultant to lead our Transport Market nationally, as part of our Executive leadership team. This upcoming role, a result of internal promotion, is an exciting leadership opportunity in a diverse team of consultants who are passionate about what they do and have a proven track record with key public and private sector clients.

**The role and what you will do**:
We are seeking a highly experienced Leader to build upon our success over the past 8 years since our Transport team was established in New Zealand. You will lead a team of over 65, across our Highways, Aviation, Transport Planning, Geotechnical, Civil and Rail disciplines nationally. Working with the Transport leadership team, you will establish and develop key client relationships, growing our portfolio of transport services and business success across our key regions of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

The role is Auckland based, and you ideally will have a consultancy background and experience with government and private sector client relations. Reporting to our General Manager New Zealand, you will also work closely with our Transport Market leads across the APAC region, and Mott MacDonald’s global Transport business including the Global Practice Leads.

**About you**:
In the role, you will be required to lead, inspire and grow a team of transport professionals within a globally connected engineering services firm. Previous experience leading and growing teams in a similar environment, as well as proven client and industry experience within the New Zealand market is essential

You will be a highly experienced professional with a wealth of experience working as a consultant Project Leader / Project Director across the lifecycle of projects, infrastructure, and developments within the Transport Market.
