Ventia is a large, complex infrastructure services provider with operations in Australia and New Zealand. Our FM business has a strong growth agenda which could provide a number of different career pathway options, including the potential to work in other parts of New Zealand and Australia and in other infrastructure or FM sectors. This is a role that will bring a great deal of variety and challenge to your working life - no two days will be the same.
**The Role**
In this role you will manage a leadership group of 10 people and manage the delivery of hard FM and hotel services across 3 sites. You will empower your managers to take ownership of their business units, whilst ensuring and overseeing the skill and capability development of the entire project team. You will become a trusted advisor by building and maintaining excellent working relationships with client stakeholders. You will be attuned to what is happening in the project environment and maintain a ‘big picture view’ of what we are trying to achieve. Your team will operate as an extension of the DHB team and you will continue our drive to increase preventative maintenance through the integration of IOT technology. You should also have a keen eye for identifying opportunities to expand our service offering within the project. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to deliver FM expertise at a level where the DHB can focus entirely on clinical service delivery.
**The Project**
The centralAlliance is a collaborative agreement between the MidCentral and the Whanganui District Health Boards. The centralAlliance provides critical services to enable healthy lives and well communities. In partnership with the DHBs, Ventia will support healthcare objectives by keeping the facilities safe, clean, and operational. We will also facilitate positive patient experiences by introducing technology to improve services and by enabling patient care through people-centred facilities management.
**Requirements**:
- Management experience within the FM industry in a comparable role
- A relationship driven management style
- A track record of developing and improving operational teams
- The ability to balance the needs and targets of Ventia with the needs of our client
- A background in and passion for the Healthcare Industry would be beneficial.
