**Overview**:
The Traffic Service Manager is responsible for our clients traffic management, road safety and parking infrastructure to maintain service expectations on agreed standards. They will develop long term budgets and are accountable for adjusting these throughout the year to maintain within annual budget provisions. You will have experience in the field of transport or traffic engineering including contractor and contract management.

**Duties**:

- Providing advice in road safety, parking matters and traffic engineering.
- Ensure transport plans, road designs, traffic operations, and parking services comply with safety guidelines and aligned within budget.
- Maintain updated views of all transport programmes in the long-term plan.
- Preparing activity reports, submissions, and minutes for internal and external obligations.
- Ensuring delivery and project management services provided within assets are undertaken as agreed with stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Extensive knowledge in traffic engineering, parking management and road safety.
- A degree-level qualification in Transport or Traffic Management or similar experience.
- Experience assessing risk and consequence, issues, and opportunities as they relate to compliance and risk mitigation along with project planning and delivery.
- Proven ability to develop and implement business plans with long-term strategic view.
- Experience in contractor and contract management.
