We are currently recruiting for a full time Foreman/Operations Manager to work with our team at our Product Recovery Division based in Onehunga.

This is a unique role for a proven people leader with an F endorsed Forklift licence, mechanical aptitude, experience in logistics, production and manufacturing. You will need good computer skills (especially MS Office) to plan, organise, supervise. You will be required to work alongside our operators on the processing lines (when needed) to carry out de-packaging and recovery/repurposing of mainly food products and its packaging to be reused, recycled or sent to Hampton Power and Resource Recovery Centre.
This role involves the coordination of workflow daily to suit our customers' needs and overseeing regular plant maintenance and site inductions while ensuring Health and Safety and Environmental compliance at all times.
You will also be required to carry out the training of staff for all appropriate Standard Operating Procedures.
About you:
- You will hold a Class 1 Driver Licence and Forklift with F endorsement.
- You will preferably have 5 years' experience in manufacturing where you have operated machinery,including 2 years' experience as a Supervisor/Foreman/Team Leader.
- You will have previous logistics/ transport experience processing inwards & outward goods and great communication skills.
- You're highly organised, flexible and efficient, have a mature and down to earth personality and you can get along with people from all backgrounds, ethnicities and walks of life.
- Most importantly, you have a strong knowledge of Health and Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Pre-Employment Health Assessment (including drugs test) and complete a Ministry of Justice criminal records check, the results of which must be to EnviroNZ's satisfaction.
