**_ Warehouse Operation Manager_**

Global Grab is a trusted and leading distributor of electronic cigarette and vaping products in New Zealand. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operation Manager for our busy operation based in Auckland. You will be accountable for the successful management of the Auckland warehouses and international customer service.

This is a hands-on role, so picking/packing to full fill the order, checking off shipments and stock control is part of your daily routine. We also expect our Warehouse Operation Manager would team up with our colleagues across offices globally to ensure the underlying operation.

- This will be a permanent position, on a full-time, waged basis

**Hours**:

- This is a wage role for 40 hours per calendar week, to be worked between the hours of 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday(inclusive).
- To start ASAP

**Salary**:

- Salary ($30-32gross per hour)
- Time worked in excess of 40 hours per calendar week will be paid at a normal hourly rate
- Bi-weekly pay

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to and develop warehouse and dispatch strategy
- Building capability in the team by coaching and developing staff
- Lead and support major warehouse and dispatch changes as required through strategic initiatives
- Leads all operational and capital plans for the warehouse
- Experienced knowledge and use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP in both Chinese and English.
- Ensures best practice procedures and processes are in place, fully documented and adhered to
- Maintains a continuous improvement focus and ensures tools and processes are implemented in the warehouse
- Work with Logistic Team in China and other countries to ensure the dispatch and transportation requirements for all relevant orders are met
- Identify and implement initiatives to reduce operational costs
- High customer service levels and adequate customer interactions in all relevant channels

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Proven track record of at least 5 years in Warehouse management roles, preferably within the vaping or supply chain industry.
- Strong understanding of Manufacturing & Supply Chain.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, demanding, and multilingual work environment.
- Highly proficient in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) programs, with exposure to master data setting and config.
- Comfortable using the operating system to switch different languages.
- The ability to seek and analyse data sets as part of a continuous improvement mindset
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese is a must, highly developed verbal and written communication skills will be preferred.

**Nice-to-have**:

- A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or a similar discipline will be a big plus.
