We’re looking for someone who is passionate for all things Quality, Safety & Environmental, who can connect with people in the business and develop accurate processes on paper.
This role is based in a fast-paced business and their distribution centre in Mangere. Are you up for the challenge?
THE ROLEIt’s fair to say this will be an action-packed role, that’s not for the faint-hearted. It takes a detail and process-driven person willing to act on procedures and ensure they are being followed through. Primarily an office-based role this position offers flexibility to work anywhere from 30 hours to 40 hours a week and start and end times can be adjusted to suit your schedule at home.
Review and update existing policies and SOPs
You will work across 3 key areas of compliance, Quality control, Safety, and Environment
Review policies, manage checklists, and coordinate the actions that need to happen on the manufacturing floor
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Experience in QA or H&S in the Manufacturing Industry is advantageous
Confidence to be a strong communicator to engage the team
Attention to detail is a must in this role and manage own tasks
A self-starter with the initiative to identify and fix any problems or implement ideas you have
Ability to translate procedural information to documented process
Understanding of safety practices & risks associated to the manufacturing industry and physically demanding jobs
If you don’t have all the above but, think you’re the one for the job let us know All the experience isn’t critical, you just need great initiative and drive to make things better.
This is a temporary ongoing position, however, may lead to the opportunity to be permanent in future.
