Simply put, sustainability is our focus. **About the role** Redvale Landfill is a "Waste to Energy" that generates electricity and heat from refuse that would otherwise be discarded or released into the atmosphere. The site's generators generate enough electricity to power approximately 14,000 homes, making it the largest renewable electricity generator in Auckland. Key responsibilities: - Investigating hazards, incidents, or hazardous acts and, as necessary, coordinating investigations, observations, and inspections - Maintaining current records in accordance with the HSEQ Management System and applicable laws - Developing, revising, and maintaining SOPs, work instructions, and coordinating staff training in addition to creating and coordinating HSEQ plans for the site - Gathering, analysing, and reporting on all HSEQ-related statistics - Coordinating and delivering Toolbox and HSEQ training There will also be periodic travel between your Redvale base and the adjacent North Shore and Waitakere waste transfer operations. **About you** If you have a functional knowledge of HSEQ legislation and regulations as well as prior experience with HSEQ management systems, you will be viewed as having an advantage.
