**About the Role**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated New Zealand registered MIT to join our team.

You'll be working alongside experienced staff who are passionate about what they do and always up for supporting new team members.

The general x-ray department has recently been rebuilt with four new Siemens DR x-ray rooms, (two in the hospital and two in the rural areas (Raetihi and Taihape)) and a new Siemens screening room. We have two mobile x-ray units (Philips and Siemens) and two image intensifiers, both Siemens.

Whanganui Radiology is a small, friendly department. Patient care is at the center of all we do, and a smile goes a long way.

**About you**

We're on the lookout for a skilled and caring MIT to join our dedicated team in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and exceptional patient care. If you're seeking a role where your clinical expertise, attention to detail, and compassionate approach are truly valued — this could be the perfect fit.
- A national degree in Medical Imaging (or a recognised New Zealand equivalent)
- A current Annual Practising Certificate issued by the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board
- A willingness to support and guide student MITs as part of their learning journey
- A proactive attitude and openness to taking on additional responsibilities such as hazard management, health and safety, and IANZ processes
- An interest in ongoing professional development, including cross-modality training as opportunities arise
