This is a great opportunity to join the Norwood Manawatu team who are enjoying their newly built dealership on the outskirts of Palmerston North city. We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Technician and we’re on the hunt for someone with heaps of drive and ambition, a passion for agricultural machinery, a great sense of humour, excellent communication skills and a genuine willingness to provide solutions to our customers.

The workshop is busy with a large customer base who are predominately sheep, beef, cropping or dairy farming or have a large contracting business. In this role you will service and repair a wide range of agricultural and construction equipment such as tractors, balers, implements, excavators, cultivation and other field machinery. Brands include New Holland, Kubota, Vaderstad and Horsch to name a few. You may already be working in the field and looking to move to greener pastures, or based in a workshop and ready to progress out into the field.
**To be successful you will have**:

- Experience in the diagnosis and repair of machinery and/or construction equipment
- Knowledge in diesel engine structure and fuel systems
- Knowledge with hydraulic systems and electronic systems
- Computer skills including the use of OEM diagnostic software
- Relevant trade qualification and/or experience
