Join the University of Auckland’s Ngā Wharenoho - Accommodation team, we are the largest student housing operator in New Zealand. This weekend role is your chance to shine, acting as the primary point of contact for our student residents, their families, and key stakeholders. You'll ensure a professional, customer-focused welcome while efficiently managing crucial administrative tasks.

- **Front-of-House Support**: Being the welcoming face of Accommodation, greeting visitors, and professionally handling all in-person and telephone enquiries.
- **Financial Administration**: Accurately accepting and processing fee payments, completing banking reconciliations, and liaising with residents regarding payments in arrears.
- **Support Coordination**: Managing all general administrative upkeep, including coordinating couriers, organising post, monitoring photocopier/supply stock, and supporting event registration.
- **Team Support**: Providing effective, collaborative support to the Administration Team Leader and Resident Manager across various administrative and continuous improvement initiatives.
- **Health and Safety**: Actively monitoring and recording resident and guest safety, and participating in and promoting adherence to on-site health and safety policies and drills.

This is a **Part-time (15 hours per week/0.4 FTE)** position, covering shifts on **Saturday and Sunday**. Your usual shift will be **7:00 am to 3:00 pm**, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch period.

The salary range for this position is between **$50,000**and **$57,000** (pro-rated for part-time work), negotiable depending on skills and experience. Your core responsibilities will include:

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- Reception and front desk experience.
- Demonstrable administrative or customer service experience in a public-facing role.
- Experience working in a university environment or as a former student who has lived in halls is highly desirable.

**Key Skills**:

- Proven ability to work independently, solve problems effectively, and maintain a level head to know when to quickly escalate issues.
- Good skills using Excel and Microsoft programs.
