**Hotel Receptionist -Night**

IronPoint Hotel Limited is currently looking for a Senior Hotel Receptionist, who has great passion for the hospitality industry and offers authentic customer experience tailored to the need of each guest. The job involves working in the night shifts and weekend, taking your own initiative and act as an ambassador to promote our motel brand in Auckland. The location of employment is in Manukau Auckland.

**The role is an integrated part of the smooth operation of our business, with the key tasks listed below**:

- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- Maintain functionality of internet and intranet respectively for hotel guests and staff.
- Conduct data integrity and server maintainable on a regular basis

**To be successful in this role you are required to have**:

- At least 1 year relevant work experience in a hospitality business
- Good working knowledge on internet and data networking are required
- Relevant hospitality or business or IT qualification desirable
- Able to work on night shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Flexible with hours and starting times
- Excellent organizational leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and provide excellent customer service all the time
- Excellent communication skills
- Have no police or drug issues
