We’re looking for a continuous improvements leader with a very strong commercial background, a hands-on audit approach, and a track record of driving impactful change. As the Head of Continuous Improvement, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our supply chain operations, unlocking efficiencies, and delivering substantial P&L savings. This role is not for the faint-hearted—it requires a relentless drive for prioritisation and a strong command of financial and commercial decision-making. **Key Responsibilities**: - ** Lead Transformation**: Oversee the strategic turnaround of our supply chain, focusing on commercial improvements that drive P&L results. - ** Strategic Evolution**: Champion a shift from push to pull methodologies, aligning our supply chain with demand-led strategies for greater responsiveness and efficiency. - ** Commercial Focus**: Continuously identify and execute on opportunities to optimise processes, reduce costs, and increase financial performance across the supply chain. - ** Hands-On Approach**: Utilise your audit and finance expertise to guide decisions that enhance commercial outcomes. - ** Ruthless Prioritisation**: Cut through complexity to focus on initiatives that offer the greatest P&L returns, ensuring efficient use of time and resources. - ** Leadership Excellence**: Inspire and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and commercial thinking. - ** Stakeholder Engagement**: Build compelling narratives to communicate the "why" behind change initiatives. Use storytelling to align internal teams across Supply Chain and beyond, engage external stakeholders, and celebrate successes that showcase the value of the transformation. - ** Global Perspective**: Use your international trade experience to optimise global operations, ensuring compliance while driving commercial gains. - ** Systems Direction**: Lead initiatives to modernise and optimise processes and systems, positioning the business for scalable success. - ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with key departments such as Finance, Procurement, and Operations to ensure alignment with strategic goals. **Qualifications**: - ** Proven Success**: A track record of leading large-scale continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain, delivering tangible P&L results. - ** Finance Expertise**: Strong financial and audit skills with a deep understanding of commercial decision-making processes and root cause analysis. - ** Commercial Acumen**: A strong commercial acumen, underpinned by expertise in financial management and audit practices. - ** Leadership Skills**: The ability to lead and inspire teams, coupled with the confidence to make tough prioritisation calls when necessary. - ** Global Experience**: Practical knowledge of international trade regulations and experience managing global supply chain complexities. - ** Qualifications**: CGMA, MBA, or ACMA (or similar qualifications), with extensive experience in supply chain transformation and commercial finance. **Additional Information**: This is more than just a role; it’s a unique opportunity to lead transformative change.
