Te Whatu Ora -Lakes District is looking for a part-time Decision Support Unit Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic clerk with a strong interest in accounting and clinical reporting. This role supports the Decision Support Unit Team at Rotorua Hospital. This position is responsible for accounting support across multiple services, providing assistance in reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
The role offers excellent support and encouragement from a professional organisation, and sits within a wider team of accountants managing various portfolios, and alongside the clinical data warehouse team.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- to be highly organised with the ability to meet reporting deadlines
- good communication skills - both written & oral
- a questioning mind and strong investigative skills
- a desire to implement new ideas to improve and develop reporting processes
- to demonstrate confident and strong Excel skills

**Salary range**: $71,996 - $72,930
