**Internal Communications and Special Projects Lead**
Citycare Property - a proudly New Zealand-owned company - is on the lookout for a strategic, creative, and people-focused **Internal Communications and Special Projects Lead** to join our team. This is your opportunity to help shape how we engage with our kaimahi across the motu.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role is responsible for delivering clear, impactful communication to our frontline teams, while also leading a range of exciting special initiatives.
We’re looking for a communications expert who can bring strategy to life through meaningful storytelling, cultural connection, and creative execution. You’ll be at the forefront of internal engagement—ensuring our people are informed, inspired, and aligned with our purpose.
**What You’ll Bring to the Table |**Ngā Mea ka Mauria e Koe ki te Rūnanga**:
- 4+ years’ experience in internal/organisational communications.
- Experience gathering and presenting to senior management level.
- Skilled in change management, workshop facilitation and strategic communication delivery.
- Highly competent across digital tools and communication platforms (including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- A passion for driving culture, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative approach with strong stakeholder management ability.
- A tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, HR, or a related field (preferred).
**What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga**
- Leading the delivery of engaging and effective internal communications across multiple channels for a range of audiences.
- Supporting the communication and implementation of strategic projects, including **_Towards 2030_** and the forward focused **_Beyond 2030_**strategy.
- Creating and driving initiatives that bring our values to life and connect kaimahi to what matters most.
- Coaching and empowering line managers to strengthen communication within their teams.
- Facilitating workshops and learning teams.
- Playing a key role in embedding organisational change through people-first, transparent communication.
- Leading and supporting project work, including topical or targeted initiatives—gathering and translating key insights that add value across the organisation.
- Supporting the Operational Leadership Team with workplan and reporting cadence and administrative support.
