ConsultANZ is currently looking for Engineering Manager to oversee a significant project in Christchurch, New Zealand.

**Main Duties**:

- Project Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for the entire project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Team Management: Manage a diverse team including surveyors, site engineers, project engineers, and design teams. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Design Coordination: Coordinate and manage design activities, ensuring seamless collaboration between design teams and other project stakeholders.
- Quality Control and Testing: Implement robust quality control measures and testing protocols to ensure compliance with project specifications and New Zealand standards.
- Geotechnical Expertise: Leverage your geotechnical specialization to address ground engineering challenges and ensure the stability of earthwork structures.
- Communication: Facilitate clear communication between surveyors, engineers, and design teams, promoting effective collaboration.

**Requirements**:

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on earthwork and pavement projects.
- Specialization: Geotechnical specialization with a strong understanding of ground engineering principles.
- Design Coordination: Proven experience in coordinating and managing design teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Quality Control: Demonstrated experience in implementing quality control measures and testing protocols.
- Standards: Familiarity with New Zealand engineering standards and regulations.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
