Metalwork Fabricator

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Metalwork Fabricator. Our client are a locally owned and operated metalwork and structural steel firm that specialize in light commercial and residential jobs.

This role is solely focussed on metalwork fabrication including gates, balustrades and other bespoke projects. They have an excellent reputation around the wider Christchurch region and currently require a competent fabricator to start as soon as possible.

**Key tasks**:

- Read and understand all drawings
- Metalwork fabrication - gates, balustrades, handrails, stairs etc.
- MIG Flux Core and MIG Solid Wire welding
- Working to tight deadlines

**Skills & attributes required**:

- Ideally hold a trade qualification
- Ability to work unsupervised and complete jobs from start to finish alone
- Ability to fabricate accurately from drawings
