**Korero mo te turanga - About the role**
As an organisation with multiple project approaches embedded within our legacy, the newly created Portfolio Governance and Enablement (PG&E) team has been tasked with driving the adoption and effective implementation of new project and programme ways of working across the organisation to enhance agility, adaptability and efficiency.
Our Head of Projects and Change will lead and develop the chapter of project managers and source change managers for our portfolio of projects. In this role you'll be a key driver for ensuring a collaborative and cohesive approach and working towards our goal of ensuring our project investments deliver maximum value and are aligned with strategic priorities while maintaining effective governance and resource management.
**Mou - About you**
The key to your success in this role will be your continuous improvement focus, as you'll be accountable for ensuring that we have the right project and change resources in the right place at the right time. You'll demonstrate strong experience mentoring and developing a team of experts, and embedding project and change management practices through building and growing strategic relationships.
- Leading projects to successful delivery, across a broad range of disciplines
- People leadership within significant business transformation
- Driving value for money and operating with a commercial mindset
- Subject matter expertise and knowing what is possible within a best practice approach
- Planning and creating operational project or change communications
