We are looking for a **permanent, full-time** Administrator to join our dedicated team at our Central Regional Office in Hamilton.

**Ngā kawenga | About the role**

We're looking for an experienced administrator who can “dive-in” to provide administration support to and work collaboratively within the regional administration team.

This is a varied role with a wide range of duties where you will be crossed trained into all areas. Common duties will include:

- Provide administration support to a dedicated portfolio by co-ordinating meetings, taking minutes and managing calendars
- Covering reception duties, such as managing shared inbox, answering phones, taking messages, electronic filing and greeting visitors
- Record management and ensuring correspondence and other documentation meet Department timelines and standards
- Providing additional administrative support to the team and regional office
- Play a key role in the management of events, ensuring the region is represented
- Works with other administrators to improve business administration processes and maintain a consistent approach to administration across the Region.

You will enjoy working collaboratively as one team in a challenging and fast paced environment, be able to multitask, follow and adhere to strict policies and procedures, and have sound judgement in prioritising tasks and activities to meet deadlines.

The work profile for this position is Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, working a 40-hour week.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Proven administration support experience coupled with strong knowledge of administration processes, systems and technology;
- Sound knowledge of computer software and database systems including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent customer service skills, a proactive and dedicated team-player who enjoys working closely with others
- The ability to develop, foster and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse range of people
- Resilience when dealing with difficult situations in changing environments and a pragmatic approach to problem solving
- The ability to organise effectively, be adaptable, multi-task and meet deadlines

You will need a Full New Zealand Driver Licence for this role.

Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, New Zealand Resident Permit holder, Australian citizen or an Australian resident who holds a current Australian Resident Return Visa.

**Utu ā-tau | Salary**

The midpoint of the salary range is $54,166 and the full range (85%-120%) is $46,041 - $64,999. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
