**Title**:Content Manager

**Reports to**:Head of Content, CEO

**Location**:Remote (NZ only)

**Functional relationships with**:

- Head of Content
- Writers
- Editors
- Clients

Join a fast-growing company. You'll work alongside a talented team of content writers, editors, and content managers.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Take content orders, write briefs, assign content
- Providing feedback to writers
- Deliver client orders
- Take feedback/revisions from clients and communicate it to writers
- Take feedback from editors and communicate it to writers
- Organize content calendars for writing/editing/completion
- Content quality assurance
- Optimize content (on-page SEO, CMS-formatting)
- Help improve processes
- Discuss new content ideas and plan content with clients
- Answer questions from writers, editors, and clients

**Note**:To start, you will be doing specific tasks to support our head of content. With time, you'll begin managing client accounts. This part-time position may lead to a full-time permanent job with equity.

**Skills and knowledge**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have experience with Google Docs and Google Drive
- Strong management and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work with a diverse range of people and industries
- Analytical and logical thinking
- Attention to detail
- A commitment to providing clients with the best content possible
- Time-management skills to ensure we meet deadlines
- Independent and able to self-manage
- Content writing experience
- General SEO knowledge (ideally on-page SEO and keyword research)
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
