**About the role**

The Civil, Infrastructure and Hire category covers the development of new roads, subdivisions and key infrastructure projects, all heavy machinery used for civil projects including cranes and roading equipment are covered in this category. With this category being largely serviced by the Hire industry the role will include the management of Key hire companies and their key staff.

The Civil, Infrastructure & Hire Specialist is responsible for driving in-field conversions, trialling of new product and increasing brand awareness which directly impacts our market share in each region. They are also responsible for delivering NZ specific (where required) training modules and ensuring wider training programs are successfully utilised by the wider team to grow the awareness and understanding of the Milwaukee range in their specialised field.

Charged with the development and execution of a plan which targets and converts strategic end users and enhances brand awareness in the Civil, Infrastructure & Hire markets, you will be a team player that shares your learnings with the wider Milwaukee team. You will work closely with the distributor sales teams in your territory, to facilitate end user conversions through cold calling and by making in-field joint sales calls with distributor sales staff.

**Duties**

Be a Civil, Infrastructure and Hire champion for Milwaukee NZ and it’s staff, commenting in detail for each market
Build long term strategic relationships with internal stakeholders, key distributer staff, key end users, procurement and decision makers
Effectively present and sell the Milwaukee advantage to users
Run industry specific customer trade events and attend awards nights.
Identify, develop and deliver programs within training institutions specific to your specialty
Prepare training modules that can be utilised by the wider team and ensue their correct use
Operate within the established budget guidelines
Work as a harmonious team player focusing on the best interest of the company and ensuring that overall organisational objectives are achieved

**Skills & experience**

Relevant sales/ account management experience, preferably within the construction industry
Sound communicator and negotiator at all levels across the business
Solid computer skills, specifically around the MS Office suite, SAP ERP system and Sales automation
Strong organisational skills - ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
Strong customer focus with ability to engender this approach within a team
Fast & responsive - able to work to internal and external deadlines
Proven communication & interpersonal skills at all levels of a business
Team Player - able to maintain close working relationships across all key functions of the business
Discreet in terms of dealing with confidential and sensitive information
Results and achievement oriented to high standards
Flexible and able to adapt to change in a growing environment
