Are you looking for a role where you can enjoy a sense of achievement from getting involved in a range of work? We are on the hunt for a Construction Supervisor to join us to work on a large project in South Auckland.
The Construction Supervisor will provide daily oversight on one of our large construction projects. Therefore you will bring specialized knowledge and experience in civil construction projects and ensure quality control is up to a high standard. You will also need competency in Microsoft Word and Excel to an intermediate level along with good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor progress, personnel, and equipment required on site
- Client liaison with the construction manager, engineers, and contractors
- Ensure relevant work on-site is conducted safely and in line with relevant regulations
- Organise and manage a constantly changing workload
- Give clear and precise instructions to site staff
- Quality checking
- Document control
- Ensuring adherence to relevant specificationsTherefore, we are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, a self-starter and works well on your own as well as keen to assist with any work that is happening. Previous experience and an understanding of Earthworks and Construction are desirable.
