Te āhua o Te Tūrunga - The nature of the position
The Senior Advisor is a key role in a close-knit Operations team. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and administering the ENZ planning framework. The role works alongside the Senior Leadership Team to develop the organisation strategy and business plan and provides support and advice to the operational teams to develop business unit plans that aligns with ENZ's plan. The role also supports the development and monitoring of the ENZ performance framework.
Ngā tino Pūkenga / Wheako - Essential skills/experiences for the role
To be successful in this role, you will be a competent and confident Senior Advisor, who has:
- Experience in an advisory role and developing and implementing organisational strategy and business planning processes.
- A willingness to embrace Te Ao Māori including Tikanga, and Te Reo Māori and an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Confidence to provide advice and support to senior leaders and experience collaborating with international teams.
- A pragmatic approach to problem solving, strong analysis skills and sound judgement.
- Flexibility to be able to change approach where required and comfortable working with ambiguity.
