Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Working within our Hospital and Specialist Services (HSS) team, you will have shared accountability for the delivery of our Mental Health Services. Here you will be ensuring equitable access to hospital and specialist services, supporting the access to specialist Mental health advice and services, you will also assist districts in matters that require national escalation and assist in any national response required. Developing and supporting the ongoing development of quality across mental health the services will also be a priority.
As the Clinical Lead, you will communicate, lead engagement, and provide coordination in partnership with the Mental health leads across regions and districts. You will demonstrate leadership and clinical governance ensuring the successful delivery of our strategic goals while the coordination and escalation pathways for Mental health are developing.
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term role.
Mōu | About you
You will be a registered medical professional with a practicing certificate in medicine, nursing, or allied health, scientific and technical and have previously worked in a senior leadership role.
You will be experienced in championing change, encouraging and fostering multi-disciplinary and collaborative approaches to management and the development of health services.

- Introducing innovation and service development initiatives
- Senior management with a track record of strategic leadership in a large and complex organisation
