**Job Description** About the role**
We are currently seeking an experienced Master Production Scheduler (Planner) with a positive, team-oriented attitude to join our Hamilton-based team.
In this role, you’ll lead the production planning process for our Hamilton plant, which plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery. You’ll also contribute to the broader master production scheduling across NZ & AU, with opportunities to further develop this function over time. Additionally, you’ll act as the ERP champion for the Hamilton site.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain—to manage the production schedule and ensure delivery targets are met. Your work will directly support the achievement of key plant KPIs in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
Beyond planning, you’ll also contribute to production-related projects and support the implementation of 5S and Lean methodologies to enhance workflow and efficiency. A solid understanding of ERP systems and the Sales & Operations Planning process will be key to your success in this role.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday on our Hamilton plant. If you’re passionate about driving production excellence and making a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you
**Qualifications** What you will bring to the role**
You’ll bring a strong work ethic, a self-motivated approach, and the confidence to take initiative while owning your own processes. With a keen eye for detail, excellent time management, and planning skills, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to changing situations.
Your ability to think outside the box, solve problems creatively, and share knowledge—especially with the production team—will be essential to success in this role. Collaboration and clear communication will be key as you work closely with various stakeholders to drive efficiency and results.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Experience in manufacturing and exposure to Epicor or a similar ERP system.
- Supply Chain Management & Sales & Operations exposure.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen, with an understanding of competitive pressures.
- A high level of computer literacy and expertise in data analysis and manipulation.

- A Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (beneficial but not essential).
