Electrical Planner Scheduler

We have an exciting permanent opportunity within the Steelmaking team for an experienced Electrical Planner/Scheduler.
What you will be doing
Reporting to the Steelmaking Maintenance Superintendent, your primary responsibility will be to enhance workforce productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays, maximising tool time, and minimising downtime and maintenance costs. You will work closely with the PME, Technicians, and Trades to ensure planned work is delivered on time, on budget, and with excellent customer service.
What you will bring to the role
We are seeking a professional with a strong electrical trades background and proven planning experience. Your ability to stay organised and adaptable will be key to supporting our team in achieving business priorities. In addition, you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification, electrical trades background, or relevant industry experience
- Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and estimating processes
- Knowledge and experience with SAP R/3
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and policies
- Ability to plan, organise, and delegate effectively
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with systems and spreadsheets
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- A collaborative approach to working within diverse and inclusive teams
