About the role
An exciting immediate opportunity for a VIP Account Manager (Variable Information Printing) to join our vibrant team based in our Albany plant. A great opportunity to develop & progress in your sales career and be an integral part of MCC’s world-class premium label solutions.
You will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our key clients or accounts. You will be expected to increase sales and revenue by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and building long-term customer loyalty.
**Additionally, you will**:
- Grow the VIP business in line with company goals, including expanding the revenue base and assisting other account managers with VIP hardware-specific projects and knowledge.
- Be a proactive member of the MCC Albany and Auckland sales team and serve as their go-to person for all things VIP.
**In this exciting and varied role, you will**:
- Manage customer call cycles to new and existing customers addressing their needs and enquiries.
- Develop plans and strategies to achieve targets and objectives. This includes track and reporting of sales metrics and performance targets.
- Monitor market trends and conduct intelligence research.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to customers as well as negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with our customers.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and customers to ensure customer satisfaction and cost improvements.
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
About you
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales
- Experience in selling Thermal Printers, Scanners and Mobiles devices preferred, however not essential
- Experience in the packaging industry / manufacturing environment would be advantageous, however not essential
- Ability to travel
- Experience with CRM tools.
- Can demonstrate the ability to establish & maintain positive relationships with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excels in organisation & time management skills and is flexible & adaptable to changing workload.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
