Technology Services - Senior Managers - Three Roles Available

- Three senior roles in our Technology Services team, with two in Wellington and one in Christchurch
- Work alongside statistical experts to enable them to deliver nationally important work
- Report to our Chief Technology Officer and be part of our Technology Services Leadership Team
- Lead multi-disciplinary technology teams across the full development and operating lifecycle to deliver customer centric services
- Work in our brand new 6-star green building in Wellington or in our first-of-a-kind shared agency building in Christchurch, and work flexibly using our modern Microsoft 365 toolset

Te tūnga | The role

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, you will be part of Stats NZ's Technology Services' Leadership team, accountable for delivering value for money business outcomes for our customers, stakeholders and partners that come from the informed use of official statistics and related information.

Each of the three Senior Managers will lead one of the following portfolios areas / service lines:

- Collections - you will focus on supporting, enhancing, and creating new data ingestion processes and systems, and delivering a full multi-model survey collection platform.
- Processing - you will focus on leading the delivery of statistical production systems and processing platforms
- Outputs - you will focus on the systems used to release our outputs. Medium term focus will be on the upgrade and replacement of our legacy dissemination systems.

- 5+ years' experience working in technology service delivery in complex, large scale ICT environments
- Experience of managing, coaching, motivating, and developing a multi
- disciplinary workforce and harnessing the talents of employees at all levels.
- Understanding of the machinery of government and related processes and procedures
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, coaching and listening skills with the ability to build relationships, credibility and communicate within all levels of the organisation (internally and externally)
