H2R Technology is partnering with Taumata Arowai to support recruitment for a Technology Analyst who will provide hands on support to the Technology Team in the end to end delivery of corporate and Enterprise IT services.

Taumata Arowai was established on 1 March 2021 as one of the three pou (pillars) of the Government’s 2020 Three Waters Reform programme. It became the new water regulator for Aotearoa when most of the Water Services Act 2021 came into force on the 15th of November 2021.

Taumata Arowai role is driven by Te Mana o te Wai - a set of principles that is about restoring and preserving the balance between the wai, the wider environment and the community. This is reflected by all that we do.
- Key Accountabilities:

- Take a customer centric approach
- Lead or support technology delivery projects as directed by the Technology Manager
- Support the delivery of Taumata Arowai Technology work programme
- Translate technology terms and processes to the wider organisation as the need arises
- Be aware of IT Service Management policies and practices and provide support where required
- Support the management of relationships with external technology vendors and suppliers
- Build rapport and trust with users across Taumata Arowai
- Experience:

- 2-3 years’ experience supporting Azure environments or M365
- Experience on a customer facing IT support role
- Experience supporting delivery of transformational organisation wide projects
- Experience with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (desirable)
- Strong understanding of corporate and enterprise systems
- About You:

- Ability to connect with customers and identify their requirements
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi and te Ao Māori
- Possesses a wide-ranging technology skillset - a true generalist
- Can discuss technology and translate technological terms with people that have a range of technical ability
- Able to adapt to changing requirements and pressure situations

Taumata Arowai recognises that we need to develop strong relationships and work collaboratively across the sector. We will design, build, and act from a te ao Māori perspective, working together across Aotearoa with iwi and Māori, local and central government and the wider water sector.

We take our lead from Te Tiriti o Waitangi and are guided by the principles of Te Mana o te Wai to regulate and influence the water services sector, improve outcomes, and reflect on the importance of and connection between the health of tangata and wai, people and water.
