International Student Services Officer

**About the role**:
The International Student Services Officer is responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to all internal and external stakeholders (which includes students, sales support and the academic teams across all campuses).
This role is a key point of contact for the Academic team who initiate changes, along with Admissions who need to update offer documents as required. Some of your other the key duties will include:
- Process and manage accurate student data across all management systems and maintain accurate record keeping
- Conduct internal auditing on regular basis to ensure all data kept in SMS is accurate and up to date
- Process and prepare reports to ensure student data is accurate
- Assist in the induction and orientation process for international students
- Liaise with relevant campus staff to prepare student induction and orientation
**About you**:
You will describe yourself as an energetic people person who can easily relate to both on and offshore international students, someone who can proactively provide pastoral assistance and get things done in a timely manner. You will be very approachable, customer focused and a great source of information and support for the students.
To be successful in this role, you must understand visas and the requirement of Immigration New Zealand and have:
- Superior levels of customer service
- An understanding of the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students
- A good command of the English language and the ability to communicate well to a diverse range of cultures and personalities
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Administrative/office experience. Knowledge of CRM and Student Management Systems is an advantage.
