Client Executive – International Students

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Employee Benefits team at Marsh. This hybrid role will be based in the Auckland office and has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The
Client Executive
will act as the people risk adviser to our International Student client portfolio, providing total client management from relationship building, advisory services and claims advocacy. You will be the subject matter expert for the international student insurance sector and will work closely with business development, placement, underwriter, and claims teams to grow and retain key accounts.

We will count on you to:

• Act as the people risk adviser and SME for the International Student client portfolio, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and sector stakeholders
• Deliver total client management including relationship building, customer service, advisory support, renewal processing and claims advocacy for students
• Proactively identify and develop revenue opportunities within the portfolio in conjunction with the business development team and consistently meet retention and revenue targets
• Deliver training to large groups of people as and when required at client induction programs
• Manage large or complex claims, assist in negotiating equitable settlements and advocate between client and insurer
• Own administration and technical workflows including policy installation, enrolment data capture, annual pricing renewals, insurance manuals, system records and reporting while ensuring compliance with company procedures and Errors and Omissions requirements

What you need to have:

• Level 5 Accreditation – Life & Health, or actively working towards completion
• Background in travel/medical insurance or life and health employee benefits with strong product knowledge and a customer-centric focus
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills, high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities within a team environment
• Commitment to complete all required online training modules for MMC and subsidiaries and to adhere to professional standards and compliance processes
