**About the role**

The International Admissions Officers is responsible for handling the international admissions and enquiry processes for the UP Education Group. You need to be proactive with strong analytical skills; have a clear understanding of the academic needs and expectations; and a desire to start a career in International Student Administration. Some of your key responsibilities will be to:

- Provide relevant accurate information regarding programme, entry requirements, visa, insurance for international students, agents and parents
- Updating student files, records accurately in CRM, SMS and in relevant folders
- Ensure all students are staircasing and /or promote to other programmes within UP
- Organise & schedule English entry test booking for potential students
- Be familiar with the admissions compliance requirements (Code of practice, NZQA, INZ etc)
- Be proactive and offer solution to agent, applicant and parents as needed. Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve any admissions related requests/matters in a timely manner
- Provide administrative and general support (including welfare, visa, insurance) to international students.

**About you**:
You will be a driven, motivated individual to be successful in this role. Your experience in in developing and sustaining productive customer relationships will be a key strength as you are without a doubt a compelling and effective communicator who uses these skills to quickly build rapport. In this role, you will also need to have:

- Effective analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
- Have an understanding of New Zealand Education
- Preferably a recent graduate from a New Zealand University and ideally will have been an international student.
