Operations Manager

About the Role:

Reporting to senior management, you will oversee all operational activities across the site, ensuring work is planned, prioritised, and delivered to the highest standard. You'll lead and develop production and warehouse teams, streamline processes, and ensure our products are dispatched on time and in full. This role requires a proactive leader with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead, manage and develop production and warehouse teams to meet operational targets
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure efficient scheduling, workflow and resource management
• Drive operational improvements across the site, identifying opportunities for efficiency
• Manage forecasting processes in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Export and Production teams
• Work with Purchasing, Technical, Planning and Production departments to determine raw material and packaging requirements
• Liaise with the Facilities & Asset Manager to ensure plant, equipment and forklifts are maintained and operated safely
• Support QA with certification audits and compliance requirements
• Manage end-to-end export processes including documentation, logistics and despatch
• Oversee warehouse logistics, couriers and internal deliveries
