This role is responsible for assisting the Contract Manager in the management of the road maintenance contract and the programming and delivery of road maintenance and renewal works for Central Auckland and the Hauraki Gulf Islands.

**Key Responsibilities**

This role forms part of the combined road maintenance team (AT/supplier) and will support the Contract Manager in establishing and maintaining a strong collaborative working relationship with our supplier to support the intent and objectives of the Collaborative Maintenance Partnership (CMP) contract with both parties taking responsibility for delivery of the contract's objectives and desired outcomes.

A typical day might include:

- Responsibility for the delivery of road maintenance and renewal works and achievement of the contract's objectives and desired outcomes in the respective contract area.
- Reviewing and approving the contractor's monthly work programmes.
- Managing the delivery of the annual road maintenance and renewal programmes.
- Reviewing and certifying the quantity and quality of completed work for payment purposes

**What are we looking for?**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a relevant discipline or significant proven experience in a similar role.
- 2-5 years' post graduate experience in the delivery of road maintenance and/or road renewal/construction activities.
- Experience in the use of RAMM, including RAMM Contractor, Network Manager and RAMM GIS.
