**Job Description**:
**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

You will be responsible for leading the digital test automation practice for the evolution of Contact digital channels and will be responsible for creating our automation framework, planning, and executing our testing across Contact’s digital products across multiple programmes of work and the updating of all related testing processes and artefacts. You’ll be required to wear different hats within an agile environment, crafting solutions that inspire. Here’s a bit more with what you’ll get involved with;
- Maintain the existing test automation frameworks and add more test coverage as needed across the Digital portfolio including principles and guidelines
- Lead and support other QA engineers to follow the best practices
- Lead the standard for test plans and use cases
- Lead and execute regression, functional, smoke and load testing across the digital asset portfolio
- Provide quality feedback to Project Managers and Digital Product Owners on testing issues, progress and lessons learned, including suggested improvements for the future
- Maintain knowledge of and fully comply with all industry safety rules, codes of practice, regulations, and environmental consents.
- Providing testing strategies, policies, test plans, testing outputs, test performance reporting and test issue identification and resolution.

**Qualifications**:
**Ko wai koe - About you**
- coaching other testers to solve complex problems
- leading the development and maintenance of the automation of repeatable processes and activities
- experience working with a range of automated testing technologies including API integration testing, web interface as well as mobile testing frameworks
- experience developing and leading functional and non-functional automation, performance, and load testing
- Ideally, experience in Security testing of APIs, web apps and mobile apps
- experience with AWS and being able to integrate automated tests to write and read to/from AWS services
