**Due to an internal promotion (yay), Huxley's is on the hunt for a new Assistant Venue Manager**

Perfectly located on Bowen St across from parliament, Huxley’s is a venue that is well-loved by Wellington’s corporate scene. We combine modern diner food with great coffee, cold beer, delicious cocktails and good times. Huxley’s is open Monday 'till Friday for breakfast, lunch and dinner with plans to also open on Saturdays in the pipeline. This is a super diverse venue that you will never find boring

We’re looking for an Assistant Venue Manager who will be able to slot right into this tight-knit team. Your role is to run the establishment on a shift by shift basis, reporting directly into the Venue Manager. Your primary role is to be a fantastic host to our customers and the local community. We expect every staff member to know the names of all the locals and them to get to know you. You're expected to be able to manage a team, pushing them to execute our vision for providing exceptional customer experiences. Huxley’s is known for being an excellent place to wine and dine, and we need an Assistant Venue Manager who is passionate to uphold the reputation

This is a permanent, full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week. The hourly rate for this position is $27.00 - $30.00 per annum based on experience.

**Who is our next Assistant Venue Manager?**
- A motivating, driven and caring leader
- An energetic and enthusiastic person who possess excellent communication skills
- An organised person who has great time management skills
- Someone who understanding numbers and sound cost control and revenue generating
- Someone who has valid LCQ/DM Certificate.... this is necessary for compliance purposes
- Someone who has previous experience working in a senior management position at a busy hospitality venue
- And most importantly, someone who is passionate about all things hospitality
