Our Rooftop Bar is a fun and vibrant venue, nestled on the top floor of QT with sweeping water views.- The Role: Assistant Venue Manager- This position is responsible for all aspects of Floor operations. The emphasis is on guest satisfaction, striving towards better standards of service, implementing and training sequence of service, improved systems and procedures. Developing and retaining a world class Floor team and delivering amazing events.- Key Responsibilities- To maintain a high level of service to all guests at all times
- To run the services and uphold standards when the Venue Manager is absent.
- To support and work closely with the Venue Manager and Bar manager, on rosters, wage costs, and training
- Special events are planned well in advance and co-operation between Sales manager and Rooftop are seamless
- Skills & Experience- At least 1 - 2 years’ previous experience in a high volume restaurant & bar environment.
- Passionate, hospitality driven people that are looking to progress.
- Knowledge of all classic cocktails and current market trends.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Ability to co-ordinate of large group events.
- A passion for guest’s experience.
- Can do attitude.
- Have a full understanding of sequence of service, wine, and cocktails.
- Be able to work weekends and late nights.
