**Job Description**:
**Job Description | Te Whiwhinga mahi**

Our internships are aimed at developing whānau, hapū, iwi and Māori capacity, while supporting Contact in the endeavour to build stronger relationships with tangata whenua, particularly within the regions where we operate.

As an electricity generator and retailer, Contact offers an opportunity to get hands on experience - from working at a geothermal power station in Taupō through to experiencing corporate life in Wellington.

**Qualifications**:
**Ko wai koe** **| About you**
- Have a strong work ethic and commitment to kaupapa.
- Are passionate about and have experience in any of a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, resource/environmental management, sustainability, science, Māori/community development, technology, finance, law or others.
- Are looking to contribute to their whānau, kāinga, marae, hapū or iwi.
- Are excellent communicators and are comfortable speaking to a broad range of audiences.
- Have an understanding of te reo Māori me ōna tikanga.
- Have strong whakaaro and views and are not afraid to share them with us.
