**About the role**: At Queenstown Ice Bar, we're not just offering a job; we're inviting you to be a part of something extraordinary. As an Ice Bar Host, you'll play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. From welcoming them with warmth and enthusiasm to serving up our signature premium cocktails in our Scandinavian-inspired cocktail lounge crafted from 25 tonnes of hand-carved, glass-like ice architecture, you'll be instrumental in delivering a truly unique night out in one of the most scenic cities in the world. Located in the stunning Upper Village next to the iconic Queenstown Gondola, Queenstown Ice Bar is the perfect spot for pre-dinner tipples, après ski cocktails, or late-night drinks. Join us as we keep our guests cosy in our luxe winter coats and provide them with an unforgettable experience they'll cherish forever.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guests' needs are anticipated and exceeded.
- Prepare and serve premium cocktails with flair and precision, showcasing our unique offerings.
- Educate guests about the ice sculptures and the unique features of Queenstown Ice Bar.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bar area, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar and overall guest satisfaction.

**What are we looking for?**
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
- A friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with guests.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
- Must be legally eligible to work in New Zealand.
