About Us

Located amidst the breathtaking beauty of Queenstown, our ice bar is a remarkable attraction that transports visitors into a magical winter wonderland. From the moment our guests step inside, they are immersed in an enchanting world of meticulously carved ice sculptures, dazzling lights, and sub-zero temperatures. As an Ice Bar Host, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience and leave with cherished memories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests, providing exceptional customer service as they enter the ice bar.
  • Assist guests with putting on warm clothing, including jackets and gloves, to ensure their comfort in sub-zero temperatures.
  • Educate guests about the ice bar experience, highlighting the unique features and the captivating ice sculptures created by talented artists.
  • Serve a variety of ice-cold beverages in specially crafted ice glasses, showcasing your bartending skills while engaging with guests.
  • Monitor and manage guest flow, ensuring everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the ice bar and reception.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to continuously enhance the ice bar experience and contribute innovative ideas.

Requirements:

  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and entertain a diverse range of guests.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bartending or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
