**About the role**: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as the 2IC (Second in Command) at Queenstown Ice Bar. As the 2IC, you will play a vital role in supporting the Site Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the cocktail lounge and uphold our premium standards of service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the cocktail lounge's operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
- Support training and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service and achieve performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant liquor licensing laws and health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Contribute to developing strategies to enhance guest experience and drive revenue growth.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards according to company policies and procedures.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as, stock ordering, and financial reporting.

**What are we looking for?**
- Previous leadership experience in a hospitality or similar environment.
- Manager's Certificate or LCQ (Liquor Controller Qualification) is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations calmly and efficiently.
- Sound knowledge of liquor licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and hospitality industry best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
