This is an exciting opportunity to join Health New Zealand and play a crucial role helping recruit our Mental Health Clinicians, Allied Health professionals and Administration staff, directly contributing to achieving national health targets.

As a Recruitment Advisor, you will provide operational recruitment guidance, advice, and support to people leaders.

Additionally, you will mentor and support junior team members and lead portfolio-specific projects and recruitment events.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the full recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
- To work closely with clinicians to understand the vacancies you are recruiting to.
- Deliver recruitment services that align with workforce strategies and professional registration requirements.
- Coach hiring managers on best practices in recruitment and assessment methods.
- Participate in health sector employment initiatives and recruitment events.

You'll have autonomy to run your portfolio but have fantastic support from a strong team, who laugh a lot, but also relish in the challenge of finding & hiring great health professionals for our front-line services - rewarding job purpose and satisfaction in one

This is a permanent role, based at Taranaki Base Hospital in New Plymouth within the Taranaki recruitment team assisting recruiting a variety of Mental Health Clinicians, Allied Health professionals and Administration staff.

**About You**:
To succeed in this role, you will have:

- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience in a senior recruitment or talent role.
- Three years plus of relevant experience in an advisory position in recruitment
- Experience working in the public health sector is preferred.
- Strong relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
