**Description**:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate HR Advisor to join our talented, fun, and collaborative team, based in our Head Office (Greenlane). This is an 8-Month Fixed Term (Parental Cover) role.
The role is varied and busy and the successful applicant should be willing to roll their sleeves up and get involved in supporting the wider business team on generalist HR activities, including projects and initiatives.
You will be part of our wider centrally-based HR Team, who manages our nation-wide workforce. This may require travel to our regional offices.
**As an HR Advisor at Healthvision, you would be responsible for**:
- Delivering people strategy by providing advice support and guidance to managers on people related issues and delivering an exceptional employee experience across the business. This includes Recruitment & Selection, Induction & Onboarding, Business Support, HR Documentation, Performance Management, and Policies and Procedures.
- Working closely with the recruitment team, to help with hiring mandates of the region. Actively participating in recruitment of office and clinical based roles
- Building relationships and working collaboratively with the team to create unique HR solutions based on the needs and requirements of the region.
- Being first point of contact for any people related issues which includes actively participating and involved in performance issues, investigations/disciplinary meetings, PG, etc
- Working on adhoc HR projects, alongside the HR team + HRIS improvements
- Keeping abreast of changes in immigration laws, employment laws, etc
- Participate in key change management initiatives for our organisation.
**To be successful in this role**:
You would ideally have a creative approach to problem-solving and the ability to influence others. You would have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build and establish relationships and:
- Have proven work experience as a Generalist HR Advisor or HR Consultant.
- Be organised, flexible and have the energy, drive and passion to see projects through to completion.
- Have a sound understanding of HR best practices and NZ employment legislations.
- Ability to think pragmatically and provide sound advice on a range of HR & ER issues.
- A high level of working independently is a must.
- A tertiary qualification in HR or Business-related qualification.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, have an eye for details and excellent time management skills.
- You should have the right to work legally and permanently in New Zealand.
