Fasten your seat belt and get ready for take-off. The close dedicated team at Palmerston North Airport Limited (PNAL) are looking for an HR Advisor to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and passion for all things HR and develop skills in other areas to complement your business acumen.

Palmerston North Airport is embarking on a major growth phase so strap yourself in. The next 5 years are exciting times with multiple commercial projects within Ruapehu Business Park, the terminal redevelopment project, and further development of the airport's role within the Central New Zealand Distribution hub (Te utanganui)

As HR Advisor you will play an important part in driving wellness initiatives and best practice HR processes and practices.

Duties & Experience
- Continue to develop and implement the _OneTeam_ wellness program
- Be the primary contact for advice and support for all things HR
- Assist with employee attraction, onboarding, retention, and engagement initiatives
- Develop, deliver, and maintain HR documents, policies, and processes
- Formalise performance reviews, professional development & training programs
- Mentor and guide team managers
- Work closely with the Assistant Accountant and CEO

Attributes
- Previous experience in an HR generalist role
- Up to date knowledge of New Zealand employment law
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources is preferred but not essential
- Ability to influence others
- Second to none communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to team wellness with a focus on continuing to develop a positive culture and enhancing team member engagement
- Be a team player, have fun and bring energy to PNAL
- Collaborate, mentor, and support all team members

This role is 30 hours per week working from the corporate offices based in the Airport Terminal Building, with some flexibility on how the hours may be worked.
