Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua - MidCentral has an exciting opportunity available within the People and Culture team for
**an experienced and motivated HR Advisor**.

Work closely with, and under the guidance of a Senior HR Business Partner, this role provides
**high-quality generalist Human Resource support **and advice to designated key clients and requires you to:

- Assist with all operational human resource matters including recruitment, performance management, staff wellbeing and employee relations.
- Actively develop and maintain strong working relationships within the People and Culture team, with designated key clients, and throughout the organisation.
- Analyse people data and make recommendations to managers.
- Assist with change management.
- Lead or support projects as required.

This is a challenging and busy role. No day will be the same and you will get **exposure to a variety of issues**. You will require a high level of resilience and the ability to multi-task in a complex environment. It is also important that you have a sound understanding of NZ employment legislation and experience dealing with complex issues within a unionized environment. The role interacts with a wide range of managers and staff, and requires a considered approach, an enquiring mind and the ability to engage in a mature fashion to gain a full understanding of issues as they present.
