Mō te tūnga'| About the role As a Senior Advisor in the People Services Team, you will provide advice and support to leaders on a wide range of people related matters so they can be successful, deliver an exceptional people experience, and build a thriving community. The role sits within a small, but highly interactive team that is consistently sharing ideas, brain-storming issues, and looking for better ways of doing things. You will get the opportunity to be involved in a varied and wide range of work, including supporting and leading the design, development and delivery of tactical and operational people solutions and projects. You will support a diverse portfolio of tier 3 and 4 leaders, working across all groups. You will also have a role in coaching and mentoring other members of the People Team. Ō'wheako, ō pukenga | About you You will have senior level experience and expertise in a generalist human resources role with a working knowledge in areas including change management, learning and development, employment relations, recruitment, HR policy development and practice. We are looking for natural relationship builders, capable of working with stakeholders to understand varying perspectives and reflect them in advice that you give. Your experience thus far has equipped you with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to see the bigger picture. You will enjoy working in a close-knit team environment and be keen to have some fun Ideally your skills and experience will include:

- In depth functional knowledge and experience of HR practice, ideally with experience managing learning and development systems and frameworks.
- Leading change management initiatives/projects and supporting leaders with managing through change.
- Leading and managing projects and pieces of work at pace
- Active team player, organised, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams and Groups.
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills including union engagement
- Good working knowledge of the current NZ employment legislation and environment and relating this to our organisational context.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Resilient and politically savvy
